With our in-house hosting capabilities, we can design and develop a website that can be more simple and streamlined, like our microsites, or a more fully designed, themed, and custom website that not only conveys your business information, but allows your customers to conduct business with you right on the website.
Our microsites are designed to be smaller “brochure” websites that give your potential customers a place to find you online. For these websites, we handle the hosting on a shared server and manage all the behind the scenes plugins and backups. This allows us to:
- Monitor which plugins that are being used
- We don’t want a random plugin that we haven’t tested to get installed and compromise the security and stability of a site. So when we install a plugin, we have taken the time to make sure it’s the right one.
- Security features to protect all the sites on our server
- We include our umbrella of iThemes Pro on all of our microsites to help prevent issues on a site level. This is an additional layer of protection to the included Imunify360, which helps block other malware and other cyber attacks on the server level.
- User roles are limited to editor
- This gives you functional access to your website, with the ability to make the content changes you need to make. It also allows you to not have to navigate the entire administration back end of your site to do so. If you, or an authorized individual, need administrator access for something, we can work with you on a case by case basis to address those needs.
- Theme and design choices are more limited
- While we want your website to look and be unique for your business, we keep theming and design choices to a limited set of options to keep the speed at which we can put together your site up, while keeping the cost for doing so down.
