We are the children of small business owners, and we started our own business, too! So we totally understand the issue of budget. We know that we are not the cheapest option. You can save money by choosing a DIY option, and we won’t try to stop you. But success in DIY land rides a lot on what you already know and how much you can do on your own. And on the flip side, even if you do have plenty of money to spend; an enormous, custom-coded everything-and-the-kitchen-sink site often leaves folks feeling overwhelmed with overkill.
We’ve not found a lot of options between the extremes, and that’s the gap that we aim to fill! By taking the time to understand your needs, we can tailor a website solution for you that’s “just right” for you!
We don’t believe in transactional projects, so we strive to be a supportive partner for you. We don’t just build brand new sites; we also update and maintain older ones. A website doesn’t end at launch for us…Once the initial push is over, we’ll be in touch periodically to make sure things are going well. And of course, our customers are welcome to reach out any time!

Roost Web Strategies was recently established (in 2020), but we spent many years before that working in-house in tech for a variety of businesses, organizations and corporations. A lot of web designers find a host for you (or make you find one yourself), but don’t get involved with the hosting aspect beyond launching the site. If you choose our hosting, we watch over your site and keep it safe by adding professional security software, making regular backups, and applying software updates as they become available. Also, any new hosting package at Roost Web comes with an hour of our time each year to help you with site updates, training, or anything else it’s within our power to help you with.
Unless it seems like the right thing to do for your particular needs, we do not build sites based on pre-made fill-in-the-blank 3rd party templates. We only use well-supported themes that will provide a stable experience. From there, we create almost every facet of your site using the world-class builder, Elementor Pro. This ensures that we can more quickly deliver a fully individualized and full-featured site, and you (the site owner) get stability, ongoing support, amazing well-vetted functionality, and ease of editing.
We think that your knowledge is extremely important for you to find success with your site! Every site we build includes training time for the site owners and editors, so you know how to use and edit your site. We can also provide these trainings as live screenshares for later review.
