How We Support YOU at WellMama

At WellMama, there isn’t one “right” way to need support. Support is never one-size-fits-all. We meet you in the real experience of pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and early parenting, where emotions are complex, identity is shifting, and support needs change from day to day.

Our approach is rooted in peer connection, lived experience, and the belief that no parent should navigate this season alone. Our team gently helps guide you to the kind of support that fits what you’re going through right now.

You are never a burden, and you are never “too much.”

When More Support Is Needed

We’re here to help you find more support through peer support and care navigation, including therapy or community resources when needed. We do not hand you a phone number and disappear — we stay connected, coordinate referrals, and remain part of your support network.

We stay connected. You are not leaving WellMama. You are getting more people on your team.

Immediate Safety

If you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or someone else:

  • Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room
  • Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)

Seek Immediate Help if You Experience:

  • Thoughts of harming yourself or your baby
  • Inability to stay safe
  • Hallucinations or delusional thoughts
  • Rapid, severe worsening of symptoms

Things Feel Heavier

You may not be in crisis, but things feel harder than before. This is a signal you deserve more support — not a failure.

You Might Notice:

  • Increasing overwhelm, anxiety, or low mood
  • Disconnection from baby, body, or daily life
  • Shame, isolation, or feeling misunderstood
  • Current support doesn’t feel like enough
  • Symptoms are worsening
