Lyndsie Leech

Executive Director

Lyndsie brings more than 10 years of experience in social services, with a background in resource development, grant writing, communications, project management, and program evaluation. She has worked with several nonprofits supporting families and community wellbeing. As a mother of two with lived experience of postpartum anxiety and depression, she feels deeply connected to WellMama’s mission and is passionate about supporting parents and caregivers through both her professional work and personal journey.

Yanire Woodrum

WellMama en Espanol Program Director

Yani started with WellMama early 2023 to help with social media and marketing, and ended up falling in love with supporting clients through our support groups. As a parent to a vivacious 6year old, she found joy in supporting other parents going through the challenging times before and after birth. She became certified as a Peer Support Specialist and has been bringing bilingual support to several of our group and services, and she will be holding more groups in Spanish coming up in 2024!

Gina Mendez-Paoletto

Bilingual Peer Support Specialist & Support Coordinator

Gina received her degree from Oregon State University inand has a background in social work focused on advocacy for women and children. Originally from San Diego, California, she has called Oregon home since 2008, where she lives with her two daughters. Through her role at WellMama, she hopes to provide meaningful support within the Latinx community. Along with being a full-time single parent, she enjoys long-distance running, cooking with friends and family, and exploring new places whenever she can.

Kelsey Lawless

Traditional Health Worker @ Women's Care

Kelsey has worked closely with the birth and postpartum community since 2013, both in the hospital and as a birth doula in Lane County. She is passionate about equitable access to mental health resources and aims to support families with compassion and without judgment. Kelsey is especially dedicated to providing support for bereaved parents and brings her own lived experience of loss into her work at WellMama. She finds joy in raising her sons, spending time in her garden, and connecting with friends over tea.

Erin Johnson

Outreach & Development Manager

I lead WellMama’s external communications, events, fundraisers, and donor relations, and I cultivate relationships across our community, partners, and supporters. My work includes leading fundraising initiatives to sustain this work while strengthening stakeholder connections, increasing awareness of vital resources and available services.

Kate Noske

Program Director

Kate is the Program Director at WellMama and has spent the last decade walking alongside families from birth through the early years of parenting. With a background in early childhood education, postpartum and infant care, and peer support, she is deeply passionate about holding and supporting parents so they can raise healthy, connected children.

Kate believes that parenting was never meant to be done alone. Her work centers on building village, normalizing the emotional and identity shifts of matrescence, and creating spaces where parents feel seen, supported, and empowered through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. She is especially passionate about helping families understand the transformative process of becoming a parent and offering education, connection, and care along the way.

Kate joined WellMama as a volunteer in December 2020 and has grown into program leadership over the past five years. When she’s not at the office, she’s You’ll find Kate homeschooling her three kids at the kitchen table, surrounded by books, art supplies, and half-finished projects.

Mariah Coleman

Support Line Manager & Peer Support Specialist

Mariah brings a background in preschool education, along with a deep passion for music and singing, to her work at WellMama. As a parent of twins, she is especially passionate about supporting parents of toddlers and multiples. Mariah also brings lived experience with postpartum anxiety and OCD, which informs her compassionate and understanding approach to peer support.

Mariah began her journey with WellMama as a volunteer, dedicating several years to supporting families in the community. In 2023, she joined the team as a part-time staff member and Certified Peer Support Specialist, and in 2024, she stepped into a full-time role. Mariah shares, “The work we do is crucial in supporting healthy families in our community. I love the many forms of support we offer and often wish I had known about WellMama when my twins were first born. I’m thrilled to be able to support fellow parents and learn about their journeys. I am always learning, as each situation is unique and parenting is so deeply personal.”

Mariah’s love, compassion, kindness, and contagious smile create a welcoming space for everyone she meets, making her an invaluable part of the WellMama community.
