About this project
The Client
Mickey Newbury is a musical legend who has a following of loving fans. Mickey’s family needed to update his website and store so it was more friendly for display all device sizes and had a more modern back end and payment platform.
The Goal
The challenge here was to recreate everything on a more modern platform, while keeping the warmth and charm that Mickey’s fans are familiar with on his old site.
The Result
We kept Mickey’s home page layout, fonts and colors… and of course, the rollover lamp graphic that had been around since the early days of the internet! This created a familiar space for those long time visitors. The store is now powered by WooCommerce which will be much easier to use, edit and manage going forward. We were also able to incorporate new high quality audio files and PDF versions of cover art and liner notes.
