About this project
The Client
This is Melanie’s quirky art site. It’s been around for over 20 years in a variety of flavors! It has always featured art, nature and blogging (before it was even called blogging) and a high level of quirkiness.
The Goal
This site had so much content (and so much more planned) that we wanted a way to easily categorize it and make it searchable. The art itself should be the most notable feature, and the design itself should be somewhat simple.
The Result
We chose the Hello Elementor base theme with the advanced editor Elementor Pro to create a simple theme with a good level of quirk. We tapped into Wordpress’s powerful native taxonomies to group like content and make it easily findable.
