How do I set up my Google Business Profile?
The initial claiming and setup process is fairly straightforward and, if you have all your business information ready, can be done in under an hour. However, there is the potential of having to upload a video for Google’s automatic verification to occur which can gum up the works. If you haven’t started the process yet, there are some extra things we can suggest you try before beginning the process.
If we’re also helping you build a website, we’ll most likely also be setting up or updating your Google Analytics and Google Search Console along the way. Having access to these before starting the verification process can sometimes allow you to bypass the video requirement and only require the need to answer a phone call or text. Every business is different, and the steps are entirely dependent on Google’s current process.
