Good Progress On The Roost

We’re making great progress on our business, so THANK YOU to all of our friends who have reached out, or sent a suggestion to someone they knew who needed some help, and helped us get to where we are today!

All of our networking guru friends say “Celebrate your wins,” so we want to celebrate our wins with you in this article…

This year, we set out to focus on building websites for our local community with the expectation that we would have to compete against companies and projects aimed at, and placed in, larger towns nearby. As luck would have it, our local focus has borne fruit. In the past year, we’ve completed, or are in the process of completing, multiple websites for businesses in our town.

This list includes two breweries, a chiropractor, and a mortgage broker, and there are a few more not yet on the list that are local projects currently in the works. Beyond that, we’ve also been able to work with other businesses within a short drive from our Roost Web headquarters. That expanded list includes a bakery, a therapy clinic, a martial arts instructor, a life coach, a career coach, a local political candidate’s campaign, a cosmetic doctor, an animal rescue, a networking group, and a restaurant. We have also helped out (and partnered with) a few BNI chapter members, primarily in Lane County, and connected with others nation wide. These projects span from giving someone pointers and building strategy, to creating an entirely new website for them from scratch. Each project, no matter how small, is very important to us, as it helps build our portfolio and reputation, and most important, it helps people in our community move their missions forward, empowers them, and makes them happy.

While we’ve been doing this work for over 20 years, it has previously been done under corporate structure or as a sub-contractor to other web design shops. Starting a new business is very hard work, but we’re very glad that we decided to start building up a business for ourselves and our clients, and created a portfolio that we can continue to serve, work with, and be proud of.

Thank you to all of our friends who have reached out, or sent a suggestion to someone they knew who needed some help, and helped us get to where we are today, and to where we will be going to in the future! Please keep sending people our way!
